Division: Division 2 Conference: Conference 1
Game Number: 76 Game Date: 2011-05-14

Once again another interesting game played between Richmond-3 & Kelowna. The weather conditions were a bit disappointing but we still managed to play the game which was a real booster for Kelowna team who travelled all the way to Langley. Fabian and I gave a good start to the batting with a partnership of 90 runs in almost 11 overs. Then the downfall started with losing 4 quick wickets @ a score of 100 runs giving a ray of hope to Kelowna to come back in the game. But Mansha and Usman played a pivotal role in strenghtening the innings by scoring valuable 22 & 27 runs. Usman hit two massive sixes (1 pull and one of the back foot to long off). Fielding-wise, splendid piece of fielding by Dylan, Ajith and Mahes as well. Finally Rocky came back to his bowling form, for which he is known for. It was a sigh of relief for me, as a captain to see him come back to his form. Mansha brought us back in the game by taking the wicket of Kelowna skipper, Syed Noman Ul Haq, who was hitting the ball really well. But again this game's "STAR OF THE WEEK" was "FABIAN PEREIRA" who not only hit couple big sixes but also took 5 wickets to lead us to the victory. Kelowna team gave their best in bowling and batting as well. But somehow they fell short due to lack of support from the middle order and the tail-enders. It is my pleasure to have such a good team-mates who play the game with passion, dedication, committment and in true sportsmanship spirit.
